أطلقت قوقل تطبيقها الخاص بترجمة النصوص على الآي فون والآي بود، التطبيق يعتبر بديلاً بمزاياً أفضل عن الموقع الخاص بترجمة قوقل المُصَمم لأجهزة الهواتف الداعمة للـHTML5.
التطبيق الجديد يدعم أدخال نصوص صوتيه لـ15 لغه مُتخلفه ليتم ترجمتها، لأدخال نص صوتي تريد ترجمته تقوم بالضغط على الأيقونه الموضحه في الصور التاليه:

هل التطبيق يعمل بدون إنترنت ؟
آسف لن يعمل إلا بالإتصال بالأنترنيت . ببساطة لأن الترجمة تحتاج الى بيانات هائلة هائــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــلة جداً تحتاج الى خوادم عملاقة مثل خوادم غوغل و هذا كله لا يمكن أن يحشر في هاتف صغير .
الفكرة منطقيا ليست مستحيلة لكنها صعبة و قد تجد بعض التطبيقات التي تستطيع ترجمة بدون إتصال لكنها حتماً لن تصل الى مستوى الدقة التي عند تطبيق غوغل و الدعم الكبير للغات
